In recent years there have been huge changes in the world of Reiki training.
There now exists a government backed society – the CNHC – that is registering qualified Reiki practitioners. The CNHC is the Government led self-Regulatory body which works in conjunction with General Medicine. To be able to work alongside a medical professional body you will need to be registered with the CNHC. The key purpose of CNHC is to act in the public interest and enable proper public accountability of complementary therapists.
In order to qualify for registration all training undergone must meet the Core Curriculum.
I am thrilled to announce that I am now teaching the Core Curriculum for Reiki training.
This will allow you to join the CNHC regulatory body and be able to work with medical profession.
The training process lasts a minimum of 9 months and will take you to a Reiki 2 level of healing. As well as all the standard Reiki training you will learn about:
- Communication Skills
- Health and Safety
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Practitioner Skills
- Practice Management
There is also a workbook to complete and Reiki treatments to carry out.
At the end of the course you will have the opportunity to apply for registration with the CNHC. All prospective members will be assessed to ensure they meet the standards of the CNHC.
All Reiki practitioner courses are held on a one-to-one basis so dates can be arranged to suit.
At the moment CNHC registration is voluntary. If you do not wish to work within the medical profession then traditional Reiki courses will still prepare you well for working with the public. They are also perfect for those who just wish to use Reiki with their friends and family. See Reiki 1st and Reiki 2nd degree courses for more information.
